A friendly group of mixed abilities; from complete beginners to experienced painters, with an enthusiastic and supportive tutor. Learn in a relaxed atmosphere where you can work at your own pace, socialise over tea and biscuits and enjoy the benefits of creativity while developing new skills. There is tuition with demonstrations on a particular subject / media each term / week, followed by one to one tuition. You are welcome to bring your own projects if preferred and make use of the one to one tuition time. Subjects and media are chosen by the group at the end of the term before and we cover a wide range every year; landscapes, buildings, animals, people, flowers, still life, watercolour, acrylic, pastel, pencil, charcoal, ink and more! Beginners are welcomed and supported in starting their creative journey in the media/subject of their choice.
